Our mission at Missing Movies is to preserve films and help make them accessible to everyone. This holiday season we have a rare treat - eight short films by outstanding filmmakers are yours to watch through the holiday season for making a tax deductible donation.
The films are from directors Ayoka Chenzira, Zackary Drucker, Mulan Fu,
Mary Harron, Bette Gordon, Mira Nair, Nancy Savoca and Alex Woo.
The suggested contribution for this package is $100 but please give what you can. All donors will receive a link to a private Vimeo folder containing the films. They will be available to watch from Thanksgiving Day to New Years Day.
Where Does Your Donation Go?
This coming year we are targeting four very important areas:

Complete the build-out and maintain a site designed to guide filmmakers in locating their films. It’s called findmymissingmovie.org

Hire freelancers to search out and vet titles of movies gone missing and, in so doing, keep a record of what’s being lost.

Publish a Zine for young filmmakers about taking preservation into their own hands to be distributed at film festivals and film schools across the country.

Continue our public outreach to raise awareness about preservation and movies going missing.
